Faculty of AMS Board Discusses Preparations for the New Academic Year

The board of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences (AMS) held a supplementary meeting this morning, Monday, headed by the Dean of the faculty, Prof. Abdullah Al-Mansoori, to discuss the progress of the ongoing preparations for the academic year 2021-2022 AD, in the presence of the Vice Dean of the faculty, Prof. Noha Al-Naas, as well as the presence of Dr. Basma Al-Qatani, head of the biomedical sciences department, and the head of the biomedical sciences department, Dr. Rima Al-Fakhri, clinical laboratory sciences program, Dr. Rashad Shawgi, faculty registrar, Dr. Iman Al-Ferjani, and director of the quality assurance office at the faculty, Dr. Susan Elhoney.

The heads of the scientific departments of the faculty presented a summary of what was discussed during the department’s meetings in preparation for the 2021-2022 academic year, including determining the needs of laboratories and renewing contracts for faculty members, as well as discussing the importance of forming research teams at the faculty and strengthening scientific research in accordance with the objectives of the faculty’s strategic plan, in addition to the criteria and conditions of admissions for new students of the academic year 2021-2022. At the conclusion of the meeting, the dean of the faculty emphasized the priority of employing and appointing the graduates of the Libyan International Medical University due to their comprehensive knowledge of the educational system and the skills they acquired during their studies at the university.
